NO. 234 FABLES (2)

TEXT: 1) 1 TIMOTHY 1: 3- 5 3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is inn faith: so do.

5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned. (KJV)

Today we would like to learn about the fables of the end time in the Bible through a message entitled gFABLES (2).h

The Bible says the days will come in the end time when the people gshall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables,h as below.

2) 2 TIMOTHY 4: 3, 4 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (KJV)

So, we had better think it surely happen in the Church in the end time, gThey shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.h And, it is even now already in the end time, according to the Bible code. So, it seems better to examine at least once, whether fables creep into the Church, or if they do, which teachings are fables.

What the Bible says is the only truth, regardless of what the theology or commentary interprets, and only those who follow the warning and advice of the Bible will receive blessing and help.

If we see teachings of established theories in the Church with such thoughts as, gIf it is already in the end time, possibly fables might creep into the Church,h we will find quite many doubtful ones.

For example, that partial rapture theory is the one, and such a teaching as, gAs long as people are named Christians, they are all saved,h is also so.

Well, based on such understandings like these, letfs see some words concerning fables. Letfs look at the text first.

gthat thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine,

4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies.h

Fables are now just rampant.

They teach in some churches like, gAs God is love, He will not make people suffer. So there is no hell. Buddhists and Hindus can be saved, too.h As even Buddhists can be saved, such stupidity can be eventually concluded as, gWe Christians who call Christ the Lord (only in formality) will never be judged nor go to hell, even if we sin or continue to sin.h We surely see such fables prosper.

gwhich minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is inn faith: so do.h

Those who believe in such fables will never be in the plan of salvation of God by faith. In short, they who are deceived by such fables may be out of salvation.

Letfs look at the next text.

3) 1 TIMOTHY 4: 7- 9 7 But refuse profane and old wivesf fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.

9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. (KJV)

Letfs look at the above text.

7 gBut refuse profane and old wivesf fables.h

It is written that old wives tell fables. Woman is the metaphor of churches. Old wives in short seem to refer to churches that are old and around the end time. It is guessed that fables will permeate into profane and old wives, churches attached to this world in the end time.

Such a fable as, gThe theory of evolution does not contradict Genesis,h is the one. But the Lord advises to refuse such a fable.

Letfs look at the next text.

4) TITUS 1: 10- 16 10 For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

11 Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucrefs sake,

12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians (carnal) are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

13 This witness is true. Wherefore, rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate. (KJV)

Letfs see.

10 gFor there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision.h

There are many unruly people who oppose the sound teachings of God and join the false teaching of Partial Rapture Theory.

And there are also surely many vain talkers who honestly believe in such a totally vain idea as, gAs God is love, He should not make people suffer. And so there is no hell.h And, it is already foolish for them to believe in such a vain idea by themselves, and still many others who fall into the pit together, telling others, too.

11 gWhose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucrefs sake.h

What should we do? Yes, we should stop their mouths.

We should know it Godfs will that we do not join these lies and conversely point out their errors. They gteach things which they ought not, for filthy lucrefs sakeh saying such as, gThe tribulation will sure come, but we are all right because of His secret second coming before that. As there is no hell, we will be all right, never to be judged (even if we do anything).h Arenft these the very false prophets who are praised by all people? Arenft these teachings the very fables which destroy houses, churches, and the foundation of the preparation for the end time?

12 gOne of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians (carnal) are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.h

Cretians mean carnal. So, we know that those who sympathize with fables which are itching hears but far away from the truth are carnal teachers and Christians attached to this world. They are those who are always liars and scheme to pervert the Word of truth. And they are evil beasts and not men. Though it is not my intention at all to call teachers and pastors of the Church such as evil beasts, what the Bible says cannot be changed. According to Genesis Adam was breathed in of God after his body was formed and then he became a living soul. So, conversely saying, living being without the breath of life (the Holy Spirit) is not a soul. The Bible may express living beings without the Holy Spirit as evil beasts.

13 gThis witness is true. Wherefore, rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith.h

These fables are not sound teachings. They are never produced without accumulation of distorted, crooked and specially unreasonable interpretation. It should neglect and forsake many words of God to establish these unsound teachings.

For example, do try to establish unsound teaching like, gChrist will come again twice. Christians will be taken in rapture before tribulation.h You will be shocked to notice that there is no such proof anywhere in the Bible. You will be surprised to see so many words to neglect in order to establish this teaching.

14 gNot giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.h

The Bible says here, gThe Jews produce fables to bring into the Church. Do not give heed to these fables, that is, to remove these.h There may be some people who are angry, saying, gIt would be irreparable anti-Jewish to say that the Jews bring fables into the Church,h but it is still worth to think it because it is told of no other than the Bible.

Some kinds of Christians are so righteous and superior in justice to oppose to the tone of anti-racism decisively to judge such an anti-Jewish idea as irreparable that they might be too righteous and sometimes more moralistic than the Bible and Lord Jesus. But we servants of the Lord just hope not to go beyond the boundary of what it is written in the Bible.

Even if how far the idea, gThe Jews produce fables and bring them into the Church,h is from the common sense of Christian Church, we should consider this as long as the Bible says so.

In fact this is what some people who know that know, many fables spread wide over the Church have come from the Jews. This is what they do not want to say, but there are many powerful theologians and workers who are Jewish (Hidden Jewish). Their teachings are the core in Christian Church but many of them are fables.

Such as, gGod regarded the Jews and made the promised their nation to return to the Middle East,h is a fable spread over the whole Christian Church from them. For example, Benny Hinn was born in Israel and the Jewish. And, it is said Billy Graham wants his son to be naturalized in Israel. He is also the Jewish.

And those who are far from the truth say many lies, but it is not His will to sympathize with them. For example, J. N. Derby was far from the truth and spread many lies over the Church as below. We should not sympathize with these lies.

- Pre-tribulation rapture theory:

Many Christians today have lost preparation for the end time because of this theory. His sin to spread this false theory is great.

- Babylon = the Roman Catholic theory:

This is in short that the Catholic will be judged, and conversely speaking, the Protestant is all right. Many Protestant Christians have neglected preparation for the end time because of this theory. He is the false prophet who destroyed the preparation of the Protestant for the end time.

- the theory to divide the prophecies to the Church from those to Israel:

Because of this theory such selfish and crooked teaching has become rampant as that many prophecies for the end time will be all fulfilled on Israel, not on the Church.h Christians who jump at such a theory are thoughtless, inconstant, and selfish. Yet Derby who deceived them is totally false prophet.

15 gUnto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.h

It is written here gthem that are defiled and unbelievingh in relation to fables. So, we know there is relation between those who sympathize with fables and gthem that are defiled and unbelieving.h

Why do some people sympathize with fables? That is because they are gthem that are defiled and unbelieving.h And, they say they know God, but their works deny that they know God.

Why are there deplorable Christians who believe in such a stupid story or a fable as, gThere is no hell,h not as a joke but as a truth? That is because they are gthem that are defiled and unbelieving,h and it is not convenient for them if there is hell.

Why are there many foolish Christians who believe without doubt in such a story contradictory to the Bible as, gThey will be taken in rapture before tribulation?h That is because it is connected with their works.

They do not really think to follow the Lord or hope to suffer for the Lord. Then, they have easily accepted such a convenient lie of the serpent as, gOnly you will not suffer from the tribulation.h Their real intentions have appeared here.

But, those who sympathize with such fables of the false prophets, teachers, that is, serpents, and do no repent of their lies should remember that their eternal lives that they think they have are certainly in danger today, too, because Eve was deceived by that serpent and lost her eternal life.

Well, letfs see the passages where the word gfablesh is used.

5) 2 PETER 1: 16- 21 16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

17 For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such a voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

18 And this voice which came from heaven we heard, when we were with him in the holy mount.

19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:

20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. (KJV)

Letfs look at the above.

16 gFor we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.h

It is told here the Lordfs coming connected with fables.

Therefore, as I have written so far, we know the characteristics of fables in the Bible to see the passages where the word gfablesh appears. They are as below.

1) Those who are deceived by fables will be robbed of salvation:

<1 TIMOTHY 1: 4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather that godly edifying which is in faith; so do. (KJV)>

2) Fables are convenient teachings to men:

<2 TIMOTHY 4: 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears. (KJV)>

3) Fables are the teachings not from the days of the apostles but rather from the days of end time of the church age:

<1 TIMOTHY 4: 7 But refuse profane and old wivesf fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. (KJV)>

4) The Jews produce and spread fables:

<TITUS 1: 14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth. (KJV)>

5) Many fables are stories of end time, especially of the Lordfs second coming:

<2 PETER 1: 16- 21 16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. (KJV)>

@

When we see the characteristics of the above fables, there are several teachings in the Christian Church that correspond to them.

For example, Pre-tribulation rapture theory and Partial rapture theory correspond to the following characteristics.

1) Those who are deceived by fables will be robbed of salvation:

Those who embrace these teachings are in danger of their lives in the end time. They will loose their eternal lives because of no preparation for tribulation, if the Lord does not come as they expect.

2) Fables are convenient teachings to men:

Everybody knows, gFor then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.h But, Pre-tribulation rapture theory, saying, gAs long as he is named a Christian, he will be taken in rapture before the tribulation, if it comes,h is surely convenient fables to men. But, it is far from the main point of the Bible.

3) Fables are the teachings not from the days of the apostles but rather from the days of end time of the church age:

Pre-tribulation rapture theory that is based on the vision (not on the Bible) of a medium Margaret Macdonald seen around 1830, gSaints taken up in rapture before the tribulation,h is surely a fable appeared at the end of the church age of 2000 years.

4) The Jews produce and spread fables:

It is J. N. Derby who contributed to spread this Pre-tribulation rapture theory and many other doubtful teachings of the end time. It is said that he was received these teachings from a member of Jewish Jesuit. There may be many Jewish people like the founder Ignatius Loyola and others.

5) Many fables are stories of end time, especially of the Lordfs second coming:

Pre-tribulation rapture theory is certainly the story about the Lordfs second coming and clever lie, clever lie of the serpent.

All might be deceived so easily. Mid-tribulation rapture theory is in short almost the same as the above theory, as it adopts a lie of twice second comings of Christ. But, those who are deceived by such lies of the serpent should know that they will be made to go away far from the tree of life, that is, the eternal life, and will not inherit it.

Letfs do the will of the Lord in the end time.

End.
