TEXT: LUKE 21: 20- 26 20 And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

21 Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. (KJV)

Today I would like to deliver a message entitled “THE DAYS THAT ALL THINGS WHICH ARE WRITTEN MAY BE FULFILLED.”

Luke chapter 21 is the passage where the Lord Himself said about the events in the end time. The Lord said in this passage that the time of judgment in the end time is “the days that all things which are written may be fulfilled.” What does this mean? We would like to learn about it.

It is not written in the Bible concerning the birthday of the Lord, “the days of joy that all things which are written may be fulfilled. And, it is not written so about the day of resurrection of the Lord. It is not whether the birthday and the resurrection of the Lord is important or not (of course they are important), but I say that it is not written so. And, likewise, it is not written concerning the day of Pentecost, “the days that all things which are written may be fulfilled.”

It is written concerning the end time day, “the days that all things which are written may be fulfilled,” and is never written so concerning others things, which has great meaning. We should pay attention to this.

Let’s see some more. What does it mean, “all things which are written?” What is that written on? There may be no great difference among Christians for it. Surely there is no man who answers such as, “It is written on the prophecy of Nostradamus!” For, once Christians hear, “It is written,” they will have to remember the Bible first. And, it seems that this passage also says, “It is written,” referring to the Bible.

Therefore, the descriptions of the end time not only on the text of Luke but also on Matthew and Mark as parallel are fulfilled on these days. And, the descriptions of the end time on Revelation, Daniel, Ezekiel and so on are also fulfilled. And they are not limited so. Many other descriptions which are usually not considered as for the end time but are in fact written for the end time are fulfilled. That is the meaning for, “the days that all things which are written may be fulfilled.”

So, this word tells the hidden nature of the Bible. What kind of a book is the Bible basically? Is it a religious book? Yes, it is. Historical? Yes, too. Poem or literature? Yes, too. But, the nature and kind of the Bible that should be remembered or be taken up firstly are that this is the book about the end time. The Bible says, “the days that all things which are written may be fulfilled,” with this to be a tacit understanding and assumption.

For example, let it be that I get some book and read it.

There is the description in the first chapter, “Such should be always prepared as a portable radio, water, canned food and so on.” It is written in the next chapter, “When it shakes, do put off fire first.” And then next to that is written, necessary things should be prepared in a backpack at pillow for escape.”

Thinking like, “Somewhat a book limited to topics, and so how about things of tasty noodle shops or current popular songs,” and then seeing the cover, it is found written, “Manual for earthquake countermeasure.” Then, I understand it, saying to myself, “Indeed, because it is such a book, the topics are limited.”

Well, the same can be said to the Bible. Regardless of that it looks like that, the hidden nature of the Bible is end time directional type. When we pay attention to this, several mysterious words of the Bible will be revealed. I cannot be so conclusive, but I think that many descriptions of the Bible include the warnings for the end time, which is important.

One more thing that I would like to mention is that the Bible was written to direct specific time. That is to say, it was written to point and assume specific time, age, and period.

The manual for earthquake countermeasure is also written to assume special time. Usually such information looks no concern to us as, “When it shakes, open the iron door, for it would possibly shut you up with the door unopened. But when we encounter the great earthquake like once in a life time, these knowledge will be live to us.

Likewise, many descriptions of the Bible are written to point the short period of the end time, and so there may be many others that are not so vivid or clear in the days before that.

But, once we read and apply these descriptions to the end time as specific time, those things that are unclear and out of point will be vivid and real. Really the Bible is end time directional Book.

There are, what they call, “Nazka Lines” in the South America. They say there are big pictures of monkey or bird painted on the ground. But as the sizes of the pictures are too big, those who walk on ground may not notice what pictures they are or even basically that they are pictures there.

But once they see them from the certain height from ground, the whole images can be seen and they may know what pictures they are. Likewise, also as for the description of the end time of the Bible, there should be the focus, the time to see, which is “the end time.”

As I repeat, the Bible has certain specific time of intention and purpose, which is the end time, and in the end time it will be done, “The seal are opened,” as written on Revelation.

And, another thing can be said. That is, the Bible says as for the end time through many different plural expressions. They are as below.

• Judgment on the Harlot
• Destruction of the Temple
• Desolation of Jerusalem
• Flood in the days of Noah
• Judgment of fire on Sodom and Gomorrah
• Captivity to Babylon
• Judgment on Egypt
• Gog, Magog

There are many others, but let it be as these. These are spoken for the same time. The day when these are all fulfilled should be, “the days that all things which are written may be fulfilled.”

With these above in mind, let’s look at the text.

20 “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.”

It is written that Jerusalem that is likened as the Church of God is compassed with armies. This is in a sense the judgment on the Church and in another sense the time of affliction for the people who follow God.

The armies said here do not mean armies of tanks or airplanes. As the Bible is a Book of parables, we should think about the metaphor of the word “armies” first. The saying, “compassed with armies,” says the same thing as below, for example.

EZEKIEL 38: 8, 9 8 After many days thou shalt be visited: in the latter years thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword, and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely all of them.

9 Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm, thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou, and all thy bands, and many people with thee. (KJV)

As the people symbolized as Gog attacked the people of God at that time, the people symbolized as Jerusalem would face hardship in the end time.

And it is the time as below.

REVELATION 16: 13, 14 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth into the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of the great day of God Almighty. (KJV)

As the kings deceived by the spirits went out for the battle at the time of Armageddon, the pastors and leaders (for the kings) of the churches deceived by the spirits would fight against the people of God symbolized as Jerusalem.

21 “Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.”

For, it is this day when the disaster comes upon this people. The people of God will depart out of the city, and others will remain there and be judged.

22 “For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.”

It will be done on this day, “All things which are written may be fulfilled.” In short, all prophecies for the end time such as concerning Noah, Lot, Daniel, Ezekiel and so on would be fulfilled.

23 “But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days!”

It is the metaphor of the church (woman), “them that are with child, and to them that give suck.” Common necessity to “them that are with child, and to them that give suck” is milk. And milk is contrasted food to strong meat on Hebrews which means to understand parables. Therefore, it means the churches filled with the pastors and the believers who do not understand parables, “them that are with child, and to them that give suck.” As the Words of the end time are filled with parables, such churches would be miserable.

“for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.”

This is the judgment day on churches.

24 “And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”

This is the parable about Christians. Sword is the metaphor of the Word, as is written, “The sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.” As the theology and interpretation of the Word are perverted, the faith of the people would fail. They would be cast down by the false theology saying such as, “Once they are named as Christians, they would not be judged.”

What does it mean, “shall be led away captive into all nations?”

Judah and Jerusalem were carried away to Babylon because of their unbelief in the past. Likewise, the Church will also be Babylonized in the end time. Though Christians may not be physically carried away to Babylon (Iraq), they would be carried away spiritually. The theology derived from Babylonian Talmud has been attacking the core of the theology of the Church, and the magic of Kabala has been active in the meetings of revivals in the Church with influence like alchemy such as changing believers’ teeth into gold.

The Church will surely be carried away to Babylon. And, as it is written on Revelation, “The great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt,” it is also another name of the Church. On the one hand the Church is carried away to Babylon, but on the other hand to Sodom and Egypt. This is the meaning of the saying, “shall be led away captive into all nations.”

“Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”

Jerusalem is the metaphor of the Church. It says that the Church would be trodden by the Gentiles (unbelievers) until that time. This has now bebn fulfilled. According to the homepage “Horn,” Kathryn Kuhlman who was famous for her Pentecostal ministry of healing was, to our surprise, a witch. As long as she was a witch and a worshiper of devils, she should not have had been a Christian but an unbeliever, and moreover a woman who was far away from Christ. But she in fact swept over the center of Jerusalem (the Church) and gave much influence on the faith (of devils) on many people. Isn’t that such a person is used in the midst of the Church what it says or else, “Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles?” But the time determined by the Lord is approaching, and the times of the Gentiles will end at that time.

25 “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring.”

The word “the sun, the moon and the stars” means powers of heaven and vessels and workers of Christians. It will be the signs here. That means some extraordinary event will appear. Surely this extraordinary event has appeared, and according to the homepage “Horn,” many revivalists are Satanists and many high ranking ministers inside of the Catholic are replaced by freemasonry of Satan worshipers. Isn’t this the signs or what else?

26 “Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.”

It may mean the time when pastors and teachers will be shaken, “the powers of heaven shall be shaken.” Probably, the time will come when the workers who have not received the mark or the spirit of the beast are not permitted to preach.

Let’s do the will of the Lord in the end time.
