NO. 193 ABOUT LOCUSTS (2)

TEXT: REVELATION 9: 7 And the shape of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. (KJV)

It is written about the army like the locusts on Revelation. What does this mean?

We would like to see it further. There is the detailed description about the army like the locusts on Joel. Those who do not make private interpretation, that is, interpretation only by the text, but refer to other passages, will get to the right conclusion. Today we look at Joel chapter 2 for the locusts.

JOEL 2: 1- 32 1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;

2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the mourning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth; the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.

7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:

8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.

9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.

10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:

11 And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?

12 Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the Lord your God?

15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:

16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

17 Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

18 Then will the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

19 Yea, the Lord will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:

20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.

21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things.

22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.

23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.

24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

25 And I will restore to you the years that the locusts hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.

30 And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.

32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call. (KJV)

Letfs look at the passage.

1 gBlow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand.h

It is written here about the day of the Lord. The day of the Lord means the special day in the end time. Therefore, this passage on Joel says about the day of the end time without doubt. It is written, gsound an alarm in my holy mountain.h Holy mountain refers to the Church and this tells the judgment in the end time.

2 gA day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the mourning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.h

Darkness and gloominess mean that the judgment will be executed on the day when the Church is filled with sin.

Well, do pay attention here to a nation on the above verse, ga great people and a strong.h The Bible surely tells in relation to the end time that a nation will bring disaster to the Christian Church. If he sees it truly, he is the one who understands the situation of the end time. And it is also written, gthere hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.h Surely, the disaster by this nation to the Church has never been heard before.

3 gA fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth; the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.h

It is further written about this nation. So, we know that this nation is of important point of the end time. It is written, gA fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth.h Therefore, they have relation to fire, that is, spirit. Concretely speaking, they will make such revival happen as Toronto, Pensacola, occult, or kabala to confuse people.

Among these revivals there are practiced signs that cannot be discerned but as magic or alchemy such as phenomena of gold teeth or gold powder. And, some words in Hebrew to praise Satan are mingled with their speaking in tongues.

The work to destroy the Church by the people who are used by Satan will totally succeed. The Church will be thoroughly destroyed with the false theology and the false spirit brought by them. It is as written, gthe land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.h

It is exactly the fulfillment of this word that believers listen to and sympathize with such a lie of Pope who is the agent for some mason like that no end time will come. It is also written, gnothing shall escape them.h There will be very few believers who escape this lie, because the false teaching spread by them is positioned on the center as the orthodox teaching in the Church. Those who correct such a lie, for example, the theory of partial rapture, would conversely be driven out of the Church. The people will be blind.

4 gThe appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.h

Horse is a metaphor of a church, or a congregation according to James. So, they are some kind of group of believers or religion. Their battle to the Christian Church will be brave like a military horse and practice effective destruction. This is surely fulfilled, because many workers in the Church are of them and many books in Christian book shops are of them, too. Their works are remarkable and successful in destruction.

5 gLike the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.h

To our wonder, their workers such as Benny Hinn, Rodney Howard, Kathryn Kuhlman, and so on are successful inside the Church and tremendously used. Kathryn Kuhlman is of them to be buried in the freemasonry graveyard according to the Homepage gThe Horn,h and Benny Hinn is also of them to make a sign of Satanic finger. But they seem to be like ga strong people set in the battle.h The spirit that they send in is like ga flame of fire that devoureth the stubbleh so that many believers are deceived.

7 gThey shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks.h

The wall is to protect the castle and city, and the Godfs Church has been protected from outside enemies by the wall for a long time. Many heresies such as The Watchtower, Unification Church and so on have attacked the Church, but they could not enter into the Church. The wall has been standing firm. But, there will appear the enemy who climbs the wall of the Church in the end time. This has never happed in the church history.

8 gNeither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.h

Some of their workers will dominate over the theology of the Church, some others will influence the doctrines to become high rank ministers in the Catholic and some others will bring in spirits of the beasts to the Church calling themselves as the revivalists. And some others will inspire spirits and messages of devils into the church music. Surely, gthey shall walk every one in his path.h And they shall not be wounded without flinching of the sword, that is, some blame.

10 gThe earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.h

The sun and the moon are metaphors of saints, and the heavens where the sun, the moon and stars are located are metaphor of the churches. So, it means the Church going into the sin, the darkness, that the churches tremble and the sun and the moon are dark. They will eventually fall into the sin because they receive the false theology and reject the immutable Word.

11 gAnd the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?h

Their works that lead the Church into destruction will all succeed in the end time. Why so? The reason is written here. It is because that is of the Lord, and they are to our surprise, the ones gthat executeth his word.h It is written in the Bible that God has created even evil men for the day of calamity. This is exactly what the Word says. And, this judgment refers to the judgment day in the end time, the day of the Lord. It is just as written, gthe day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?h We should fear the Lord who is the Judge.

12 gTherefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:

13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.

14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the Lord your God?h

Many of Godfs people would perish in the end by the damages of the locusts as stated above. But, here, the things are turned round, and it is written, gturn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning.h In the end time there will be two kinds of Godfs people, and there will be not only ones who are judged but also others who return to God as the remnants.

15 gBlow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly.h

In the end time there will appear the people who gblow the trumpet,h that is, deliver the warning. And a fast is necessary. That is to say, it is necessary to avoid unclean bread, theology of false word, unclean water, revival of false spirits.

16 gGather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

17 Let the priests, the ministers of the Lord, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O Lord, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?h

Now the Church is in the situation to be said as, gWhere is their God?h But the time of restoration of the Lord will come.

18 gThen will the Lord be jealous for his land, and pity his people.

19 Yea, the Lord will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen.h

As the Lord said, gBehold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil,h the time will come when bread and wine are restored. But it may be the time for deceived Godfs people when the cult appears and they blame others as gBeelzebub.h

20 gBut I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.h

What is gthe northern army?h The center of the World in the Bible is Jerusalem, and the north is northern Israel. And I believe it is the sign for the Catholic now. The great deception to the Protestant believers is coming from the north, that is, the influence of the Catholic. Their Bible containing the false Apocrypha is on the shelves in the Christian shops. And many lies such as Ecumenical Movement to have communication with other religions like Buddhism are coming into the Protestant churches. Many believers will be deceived with these. It will be to know women of adultery and so be certainly the menace of the north to have relation with them. But the Lord said, gBut I will remove far off from you the northern army.h

21 gFear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things.

24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and vats shall overflow with wine and oil.h

What is written here is the work of restoration of the Church. The Lord will cause to come down not only the former rain but also the latter rain, that is, the revival of the end time.

25 gAnd I will restore to you the years that the locusts hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.h

The time will come when the doctrines and teachings that the locusts, the cankerworm and so on have eaten are restored.

27 gAnd ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.h

It will be restored on that day that they know their God in the midst of the Church.

28 gAnd it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.h

Many will be baptized with the Holy Spirit in the revival of the end time on that day.

30 gAnd I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.h

It is written here about the judgment.

Wonders of blood and fire written here correspond to the signs of blood and fire caused before the exodus of Egypt. This is the judgment on that Godfs Spirit is changed into devils. The reason is because they expel the Person who holds antichrist to come.

32 gAnd it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call.h

Many will perish because they ask for signs such as gold teeth and so on in the city called Egypt, that is, the churches to be judged in the end time. But not all will be judged but some will escape and remain. They are those gwho shall call on the name of the Lord.h Therefore, do understand that it is never His will to put vessel worship or workers in the position of God. We should know Him as God.

Let us do the will of the Lord in the end time.

End.
