NO. 192 ABOUT LOCUSTS (1)

TEXT: REVELATION 9: 3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. (KJV)

Today I would like to deliver a message entitled gABOUT LOCUSTS.h The judgment on Godfs people of the end time is told through many descriptions on Revelation. The word glocustsh is one of them We would like to learn what this word says.

It is the book of Joel that depicts about locusts in detail. There are here and there on Revelation chapter 9 some verses that are quoted of Joel. So, the other side of Joel is the description to foresee the end time. We would like to look at the passage on Joel.

JOEL 1: 1- 20 1 The word of the Lord that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.

2 Hear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?

3 Tell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.

4 That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten, and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten, and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpillar eaten.

5 Awake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.

6 For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.

7 He hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.

8 Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.

9 The meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the Lord; the priests, the Lordfs ministers, mourn.

10 The field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.

11 Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.

12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languisheth; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.

13 Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.

14 Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord.

15 Alas for the day! for the day of the Lord is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

16 Is not the meat cut off before our yes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?

17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.

18 How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.

19 O Lord, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.

20 The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness. (KJV)

Letfs look at the above.

2 gHear this, ye old men, and give ear, all ye inhabitants of the land. Hath this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?h

The disaster of the locusts occurred in the end time would be as never happened and specific in the church history.

3 gTell ye your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.h

The word ganother generationh is written in singular. So, there will be one special generation that the damage of the locusts comes upon in the end time.

4 gThat which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten, and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten, and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpillar eaten.h

The locust bites and eats.

5 gAwake, ye drunkards, and weep; and howl, all ye drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.h

Drunkards and wine are the words concerning the Holy Spirits. It is written, gfor it is cut off from your mouth.h Yes, the Holy Spirit will be taken away from them on this day.

6 gFor a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.h

It is written here about a nation. This is the verse that says there will be a nation that assaults on the Godfs people of the New Testament and leads them into destruction in the end time. If our eyes are made open, we will notice that God has several times warned about this, ga nationh in the Bible in relation to the end time. This nation is just now active behind the scenes and their teeth are the teeth of a lion.

7 gHe hath laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he hath made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.h

Vine and fig tree are metaphor of Christians. They will be cast away from before God by this nation. What is happening in Toronto or Pensacola is the fulfillment, and the lies such as the Partial Rapture Theory and Dispensationalism are spread and established by these people who rule seminaries is also the fulfillment.

9 gThe meat offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the Lord; the priests, the Lordfs ministers, mourn.h

Meat is the metaphor of the Word and drink the Holy Spirit. Now damages will be given to both of them

The Lordfs ministers are the pastors and fathers now, arenft they? They will mourn. For, the Word becomes vain because of distorted doctrines and teachings, and the work of the Holy Spirit has gone.

10 gThe field is wasted, the land mourneth; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languisheth.

11 Be ye ashamed, O ye husbandmen; howl, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.h

Husbandmen are workers in the fields, that is, servants of the Word. Vinedressers are metaphor of vessels who ask the Holy Spirit to be poured. Why do their works become vain? Is it bad to work for God? The reason is because they spread the false teachings such as that Christ will come twice through distortion of the Word and also spread the false revivals like Pensacola without discerning the Holy Spirit from devils. Therefore they will be ashamed.

13 gGird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.h

We should know that it is the time for pastors as priests now to lament and mourn, gfor the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God.h Appearance may not look so, but it has secretly established for a long time. As a result, the Catholic people now believe seriously such a lie as that there will be no end time.

14 gSanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the Lord your God, and cry unto the Lord.h

A fast here means eating or drinking nothing, that is to say, eating no bread, doctrine of lie (no sympathy with them), and drinking no unclean water, water of revival related to devils or coming near to such meetings. That is why it is told here about gcalling a solemn assemblyh meaning to be sanctified of these uncleanness.

16 gIs not the meat cut off before our yes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?

17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.h

Now food is cut off in many churches. Even if there is the Bible or the message, it is possible that food is cut off. Such happens a lot as that nothing of action or walk of believers changes though they go to church to hear the Word. If they eat bread or rice, they usually become active and powerful to work. If they hear message and then no change come to their walk, the food should not be the real one but imitation. Therefore, it is now such a time as written, gThe seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.h

18 gHow do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.h

The herds of cattle are metaphor of believers. It is said that they groan and are perplexed, and that the flocks of sheep are made desolate.

Surely there are fine church buildings, but it is now such a time when many Christians groan and are perplexed spiritually in them. The reason is because churches follow false doctrines and drive the Holy Spirit out of them to pursue false revival.

19 gO Lord, to thee will I cry: for the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame hath burned all the trees of the field.

20 The beasts of the field cry also unto thee: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.h

It is written, gthe fire hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness.h Fire is the metaphor of spirit, and this is the description about Christians who are perishing in the revival of devils. It means running out of the work of the Holy Spirit that gthe rivers of waters are dried up.h

As I have repeated, these prophecies are right now to be fulfilled. Blessed are those whose eyes are made opened to see this. We should not make error to see big church buildings or the appearances of them. Isnft that the church of the Laodiceans before the Lord, that is said, gThou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked,h though they say, gI am rich, and increased with goods, and have need nothing?h Blessed are those who can see that it is now the time that wheat and oil are cut off, regardless of the appearances. For, as the born blind man who see himself blind are made opened of his eyes, those who see no food will ask God and eventually lack for no true food.

Let us do the will of the Lord in the end time.

End.
