TEXT: REVELATION 21: 1, 2 1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. (KJV)

Today I would like to deliver a message entitled “ABOUT A NEW HEAVEN AND A NEW EARTH.” Many people who interpret Revelation literally take this, “a new heaven and a new earth,” like the heaven where airplanes fly and the earth where cars run. They say such as, “The Bible should be interpreted literally word by word and not be interpreted spiritually.” We do not know what spiritually interpretation means, but in short they say, “The words should not be interpreted as parables.”

Although I believe I have read the Bible quite many times, I have never found so far the passages that command, “Words should be literally read as they are,” as they say. To the contrary, I can find the definite passages about the interpretation of parables. Why we do not find such passages is simply because there is basically no such one. They are the foolish ones who eliminate parables of the Bible with their own theories so that they distort the Word with the ideas of this world. They cannot interpret the word “a new heaven and a new earth” written on the book of parable, Revelation, and teach the people wrongly. They are scampers or blind leaders of the blind, aren’t they?

Well, let’s see the parable of a new heaven a new earth.

It seems that the hint for the parable is the word concerning the descendants of Abraham, “Stars of heaven, sand of the earth.” Abraham is not only the ancestor of the people of Israel of the Old Testament but is also the spiritual ancestor of the Christians of the New Testament.

As for the descendants of Abraham, it was told they would be like stars of heaven and sand of the earth. Therefore, we, Christians, are likened as stars and sand. And do understand stars are in heaven and sand on earth. So, we know heaven and earth are where Christians dwell, that is to say, these are metaphors of the Church.

Well, with these in our mind, let’s look at the text.

1 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”

It is written, “a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away.” As for the passing away of heaven and earth, the following passage has relation to it.

MATTHEW 5: 17- 19 17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. (KJV)

Let’s look at this passage.

17 “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill.”

Many people think that many of the words of the Old Testament and the prophets are abolished. But they are not so. They are now about to be fulfilled.

18 “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”

Here it is told in relation to the law, that is, the teaching of the Word, that “heaven and earth pass.”

We know that it is easier for heaven and earth to pass than for one jot or one tittle to pass.

Heaven and earth are the metaphors of churches. It is written, in short, that if the Word of the Bible clashes with the teaching of the Church we should take the Word and should not distort or withdraw even one jot or one tittle.

Is it possible that the Word clashes with the teaching of the Church? This should not be happened, but it could actually happen. For example, it is said that Pope admitted the theory of evolution. This is the teaching that flatly clashes with the Word, “God created things after their kind.” And, it is also said he spoke, “There is no end time.” This contradicts many passages of the Bible which mention about the end time. Either should be right, and we should choose one of them. We do not know how great he is or the churches that follow his lies are, or how many of those who are in such churches are, but heaven and earth (churches) that clashes with the law flatly should know they will pass away that day. Those who are deceived thoroughly by lying spirits of Mary beginning with that of Fatima (all the prophecies of Mary proved wrong), follow the teachings of Pope and forsake the Word will be humiliated.

19 “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:”

Such people who teach to break one of these least commandments will be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Even more, what will happen to Pope who broke publicly the teaching of Christ, repeatedly saying about the end time and taught, “There is no end time.” If even the least enters the Kingdom of Heaven, it will be all right. But as he intentionally led people to error and became like beast, it might be doubtful for such a person to enter the Kingdom of Heaven as a result. And, it should be understood that many fathers and the believers who sympathize with him and are deceived by him will be like beasts and pass away like him.

Mary beginning with Fatima is the kind that is devils doing signs, and it is said that she said about the present Pope such as, “I was given of God the Pope whom I had brought up.” The present Pope is certainly doubtful, as he is said by Mary like this. Surely the faith of the Roman Catholic has fallen back tremendously since the enthronement of the present Pope, and he is certainly brought up by her (devil) in such a sense. Those who blindly believe in her because some of her words were right will be humiliated. Liars do not lie all, but mix a little lies in some truths. Her word about the present Pope is exactly the crown of her lies.

It is now the time when errors and lies contrary to the Word and law of God are filled. It is difficult and is suffering to keep the Word by ourselves and also to teach others to keep it.

When they all call him, “Papa, Papa,” he might be ousted of his church if he says, “Call no one on earth father, He who is in heaven is only out Father.” And, if he bravely says, “Where in the Bible is it written Christ will come twice?” though they all do not question the teaching of partial rapture theory which is added some to the Word, he might be ousted of his church.

But, we should know that if we keep the Word and teach others to keep it even paying these prices we will be called great in the Kingdom of heaven.

Lord Jesus certainly paid the price to teach us to keep it, and we know He is called the very Great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Even though it might be convenient to many people that both would remain eternally if the Church (heaven and earth) clashes with the Word, the Bible does not say so. It says that these two will be clashed each other in latter days and either will pass away and will not remain before God at that time.

And, it says plainly and clearly that the one that passes away is the heaven and earth and another that remains is the Word. We know how firmly we should stand on this Word of God.

Let’s look at the original text.

2 “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

It is written about a new heaven and a new earth in verse one, and about new Jerusalem in this verse two.

Actually these two are the same. So, they are written in parallel like this.

New Jerusalem is different from old Jerusalem that is to be judged. It says the Church that is restored in the end time. And, there are likewise an old heaven and earth and a new heaven and earth. An old heaven and earth mean the Church that rejects to follow the Word and as a result passes away. To the contrary, a new heaven and a new earth are the restored Church in the end time that follows the Word.

Well, let’s see another description concerning the heaven and earth.

2 PETER 3: 10- 13 10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. (KJV)

Let’s look at it.

10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”

“in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.”

It is written that the heavens, that is, stars, the moon and the sun, will be burned up. This may have relation to that it is written the end time day will be like a days of Lot. As Sodom was burned up in the days of Lot, the fire, devils, will burn up those who are attached to this world and their works.

11 “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,”

It is mentioned here things dissolved and people becoming holy simultaneously. Therefore, we guess that the reason why these are burned is actually because they are unholy before God to neglect the Word. If our eyes are opened, we will know it has already begun that the heaven and earth and the elements are burned. This is not far from now like foolish and blind theologians say. How can they explain what they do not see by themselves, though they interpret about the end time, especially even with the diagram.

The revivals of devils such as Pensacola are burning up more and more even in Japan, and many elements of heavens, Christians likened as stars, are burned by this fire of lie.

12 “Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?”

It is also written here the heavens and the elements will be burned and melted. So, we should know that the deception and the revival of the end time by devils symbolized as fire were prophesied and warned from the days of Peter, or even the time of Genesis when Noah and Lot were described.

And, this fire, what, has begun to burn these days of ours! We should fear the Lord and the Word. Those who ask and seek the Holy Spirit will meet this Person, the Holy Spirit.

13 “Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”

The Lord prophesies for new heavens and a new earth coming this age. The righteousness will dwells there and there will be no people who say lies or distort the teaching of the Bible. To the contrary, we will see the old heaven and earth are judged and pass away because of their works to distort the Word.

Let us do the will of the Lord in the end time.
