TEXT: REVELATION 12: 13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. (KJV)

Today I would like to deliver a message entitled “ABOUT THE MAN CHILD.” We would like to learn about the man child who appears in the days of Revelation.

We should refer to other passages in order to understand about the man child. There is some related description in Genesis.

GENESIS 3: 15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. (KJV)

This is the word that mentions about the relation between Satan and Eve who was deceived and defeated once in the Garden of Eden. Eve was the first woman, and a woman is the type of a church. The hope of a church is in the man child and the man child will take the vengeance on the serpent for the deception.

This man Child of hope appeared in the land of Galilee two thousand years ago.

MATTHEW 4: 14- 16 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

15 The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

16 The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which was in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. (KJV)

Could this man Child take vengeance of the woman (a church) deceived by the serpent?

The New Testament said that this vengeance was taken. This man Child, Jesus, called ”Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers,” to the scribes and Pharisees who did according to the will of Satan and perverted the Word and deceived the people, took back the Word from their hands and made it restored. The generations of vipers who distorted the Word were defeated by Lord Jesus who was the seed of the woman, and the right Word spread to the people through Lord Jesus. Surely the heel was bruised and He was crucified, but the work of Lord Jesus was not suspended there. It never ended in vain. When we look at the letters of Peter, John and Paul of the disciples of the Lord, we can see the pure Word that has been restored from the works of the serpents of the Pharisees. The man Child definitely bruised the head of the serpent that distorted the Word.

Well, His work as the man Child is the type of the workers in the end time. It is written on Revelation of the end time, too, and this is the real thing. The days of Lord Jesus are the type of the end time. Therefore, when we look at the work of Lord Jesus as the man Child, we can learn about the end time. Let’s look at it as below.

MATTHEW 1: 18- 23 18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.

20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (KJV)

Let’s look at the above passage.

18 “Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.

19 Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily.”

Do pay attention to the word, “She was found with child of the Holy Ghost.” This man Child, Christ, was born with Holy Spirit. Therefore, the man child of the end time, the victor of the end time, will be born with Holy Spirit, too. He will be spiritually born with the Holy Spirit.

21 “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.”

This man Child is born not only with Holy Spirit but also of Mary, the woman, that is, the Church. The Church may now be filled with many lies and sins, but the victor will be born with the Church on that day.

23 “Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”

Well, we know it is not that this man child is born out of any woman but of a virgin. We understand that there should be some meaning behind a virgin. A virgin is opposite of a harlot, Babylon, that is to say, the Church.

On Revelation, it is written about the people of hundred forty four thousand on Revelation as below.

REVELATION 14: 4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. (KJV)

They are the ones who have not been defiled with women, Babylon, that is to be judged, the churches of sins, and have had nothing to do with the false revivals and the false interpretations of the Bible. They are virgins.

Therefore, it is told with the word “a virgin” that the victor of the end time, the man child, will be born of these Christians. And, the word, “the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb,” shows another character of the man child. They are offerings, that is, the martyrs.

Lord Jesus devoted His life on the cross. At that time the work of Satan was defeated. This could also be said the martyr.

Likewise, the dragon will be cast down from heaven by the martyrs and his work will be defeated in the end time.

Let us do the will of the Lord in the end time.
