gThe House of thievesh, by Jeremiah

This time I would like us to talk about gThe house of thievesh. The churches in End Times will become a house of thieves and finally get destroyed as consequence. We are going to take a look at Zechariah 5:1-11.

Zechariah 5:1 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.

5:2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.

All of a sudden, we read there is a flying roll. What does this mean? The next scripture tells us that this is the Bible.

Jeremiah 36: 4 Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.

The roll contains the word of God which indicates it is the Bible. Letfs take a look at the next one.

Zechariah 5:3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.

Now, this part describes one aspect of the Bible; curse. This means it punishes people who steal it (make false claims). Indeed, the word of God has power to place a judgment or punishment.

Zechariah 5:4 I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.

This describes the judgment and punishment by the word of God. What does it mean to remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof? The Lord often uses parables as explained below so letfs look at this from the parablefs point of view.

Psalm 78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

<Parable of Thief>

When we think about the meaning of thief, the scripture below will give us a clue.

Jeremiah 23:25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.

23:26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

23:27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.

23:28 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that hath my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? saith the Lord.

23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

23:30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.

This scripture describes that Godfs wrath will be upon the workers who steal the word of God. They are prophets who are supposed to be workers of God. But they spread the wrong message instead and this is how stealing the word of God is to be understood.

<Worders who steal the word of God>

Stealing the word of God was taking place not just in the time of Jeremiah but also

while Jesus was around. Therefore Jesus accused Pharisees who were meant to be the workers for God as we can see from the scripture reference below:

Matthew 16:6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Pharisees were teachers and rabbis but they taught the wrong message of God therefore people couldnft enter the kingdom of God.

<The temple of God became a den of thieves>

God was angry at those who made the temple of God a den of thieves.

Matthew 21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

The, Lord mentioned gye have made it a den of thievesh. He accused thieves but strangely, there is no actual thief who steals money or valuables. There are sellers of cow and sheep as well as money exchangers, but not robbers or pocket pickers. So, who does the Lord call thieves? As you can tell now, it is those who steal the word of God.

<The temple of God will be destroyed because it becomes the house of thieves>

The temple, house of God will be destroyed because it becomes the house of thieves. Letfs read the scripture below:

Matthew 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

As this scripture prophesized, the temple of God in Jerusalem was destroyed in A.D 70 when it was attacked by the Romans. Why did it happen? Because there were people who stole the word of God. As a result, what Zechariah 5:4 says was fulfilled. It was the rabbis and Pharisees who stole the word of God. They made the temple of God the house of thieves.

<The house of God in End Times will be destroyed>

Now, Matthew 24, as we read, has two meanings. This prophesy will be fulfilled again in End Times. The scripture below seems to prophesize that.

2 Thessalonians 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

This part describes the days when the churches will be destroyed. Letfs take a look.

The scripture tells us that there is apostasy first. Apostasy means the churches start leaving the teaching of Christ and the teachings of apostles and prophets are being forgotten. Even the teaching of Christ is will no longer be taught.

Then, they will drive Christ out of the throne only to replace Him with anti-Christ as

their god. This is what so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God suggests.

<The churches of New Testament will be destroyed because they steal the word of God>

According to Revelation, the churches in End Times will be destroyed while the country of the beast causes chaos. How come the house of God would have to face such tragedy? The reason is clearly stated in Zechariah; the churches become the house of thieves. So, the scripture in Zechariah git shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereofh will be fulfilled and the teachings of apostles, prophets, and Christ will be removed.

<The temple of Shinar>

Letfs continue looking at Zechariah.

Zechariah5:5 Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

5:6 And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.

As you can see from the scripture below, gan ephah that goeth forthh is about the meat, bread of life, another words, the word of God.

Numbers 28:5 And a tenth part of an ephah of flour for a meat offering, mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil.

Therefore, this scripture talks about the sin against the word of God.

Zechariah5:7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.

5:8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.

It describes that a woman is captured in the ephah. The woman symbolizes the church and it implies that the church will commit sin against the word of God.

Zechariah 5:9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.

A stork, as shown below, is seen as a cursed bird.

Leviticus 11:13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray,

11:19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

Birds represent spirit therefore we can see that this woman (church) sins against the word of God and commands demons. So, who really is this woman?

Zechariah 5:10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?

5:11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.

This states that the land where the temple is situated is Shinar. We can see where it is from the scripture below.

Daniel 1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.

1:2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

gShnarh is actually where the temple of Babylon is.

Therefore we can see that the woman in Zechariah is the same as Babylon that appears

in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

This part describes Babylon will fall. The reason for that is, again, because they stole the word of God. This scripture further explains what Revelation describes about Babylon. Babylon is Christian churches in the U.S who steal the word of God and brings sin into the church. Also, as the stork represents, they worship unclean spirit.

woman in the ephah

<There are too many doctrines which steal the word of God in modern church>

So, knowing that the day will come when Christian churches around the world get destroyed as the consequence of stealing the word of God, what should we do about this?

It is quite obvious. You need to throw away the teachings of all kinds of thieves. Pre-rapture theory and two step rapture theory are the prime examples. The wrath of God is piling up because of these teachings of thieves and you need to be aware of that.
